For all of the campers out there between the ages 3.5-5, Scamper Camp is just what you are looking for! This camp is full of various activities and field trips full of fun. Registration is limited to 24 participants per session so register today!

REGISTRATION

Registration will be accepted through certified mail or personal drop-off. All forms must be fully completed in order to be processed and appropriate deposits must accompany registration.

Please note that incomplete submissions will be returned to the sender without being processed...PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK YOUR REGISTRATION PACKET PRIOR TO SENDING IT.

Mail-in registrations will be accepted if they are received on or after the appropriate registration dates. Registrations in non-compliance will be returned.

Completed registration packets may be dropped off at Northside Park, 200 125th Street in Ocean City between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Registration will not be accepted prior to the appropriate registration date, and incomplete submissions will be returned.

REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION

1. All forms included in the registration packet must be completed.
2. A copy of your child's birth certificate (No original documents please).
3. Ocean City Residents must provide documentation of residence at time of registration. Acceptable documents are as follows:

  • Ocean City Tax Bill
  • Copy of Lease

4. A $20.00 non-refundable deposit per child per session.

MISCELLANEOUS

Registration in Scamper Camp is limited to 24 children per session and they must be 3.5 yrs of age prior to the session date. Register early!

Confirmation of acceptance into the program will be provided by mail. Please do not expect confirmation until June 1st.

Registration packets are available for pick-up at the Northside Park Recreation Complex, 125th Street and the Bay, Ocean City, (410) 250-0125, beginning March 1st.

The balances of camp fees are due the first day of each session. Children should bring their own non-perishable lunch to camp everyday. Children should bring a bag packed with bathing suit, towel, extra change of clothes and sunscreen to camp every day. Children must wear sneakers and socks to camp every day. NO sandals please.
Children must be fully potty trained to attend this program.

Camp Horizon is Ocean City’s premier summer day camp program. Providing participants with creative, recreational and educational opportunities, Camp Horizon promises to keep your child busy through athletics, arts and crafts, quiet games, special events, and field trips full of fun for those children ages 5-12.

REGISTRATION

Registration will be accepted on a first-come/first-served basis beginning March 1st.

An Ocean City Resident is defined as a person who lives or owns property within the CORPORATE LIMITS of Ocean City. Non-resident areas include: West Ocean City, Berlin, Ocean Pines, Out-of-state, etc.

1. Registration form/health inventory
      A camper emergency card
      A camper field trip form
      A camper water safety agreement
      A camper behavior contract

2. A copy of your child's age-appropriate immunizations (only if child has not started Kindergarten or does not attend a school in Maryland).

3. A copy of your child's birth certificate if he/she is five years of age or will be by the first day of session. (No original documents please).

4. Ocean City Residents must provide documentation of residence. Acceptable Documents are as follows:
